THE STANIMAL EXPERIENCE

 

Stanimal started his first hostel in 2013 and has since expanded from one hostel to two. As a former thru-hiker (2004), he knows exactly what hikers need and provides a number of free services as part of the amenities during your stay. The homey Glasgow hostel and the Around the Bend Lodge ensure hikers have a clean, comfortable place to rest with plenty of resupply stores in both locations and an outfitter on site at Around the Bend.

 

Whether you’re looking for a break from the trail or you’re hoping to slack pack along the Appalachian Trail, we can help! Discover convenient Appalachian Trail shuttle services, as well as free laundry, WiFi, Netflix, and much more.

 

HIKER HAVEN

 

Since Stanimal’s Hostel was established, we’ve always had a great hiker community staying with us. Meet up with other hikers and spend time chatting and relaxing on our collection of sofas and armchairs. Yoga mats, massage tools, and a foot spa to provide extra relaxation and comfort after a long day on the trail.
